Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter is a most versatile color. It is grey that translates well under a variety of lighting and design scenarios. It can be dark or light, depending upon the application. It is an historic color, and so works in both traditional as well as contemporary design.

Is there a hotel that’s most inspired your work while traveling?

The Setai in South Beach Miami for design and the Regent Palm in Turks and Caicos to unplug and recharge. Both of these properties understand the importance and value of integrating wonderful yet subtle natural scents through natural floral and herbal arrangements in the spaces. Costanoa in Northern CA is another great place to unplug as is the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur.

Which pieces of technology do you use to document design inspiration?

I am tethered to my iPhone. The camera, various design apps, Instagram, the ability to resource product and respond to clients while on the road has made designing so much more accessible for everyone and thus made the design process a much more collaborative one, which is the way I prefer to work.
